This show is a distillation of the rock ‘n roll experience of young people in the late 50s, 60s and 70s – the heyday of rock ‘n roll –  with music reminiscent of that era and references to veteran rockers like Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Cochran, Journey and others.

It is set in a mid-size town of the period andlooks at the lives of several young people from the perspective of an older man (the “Narrator”) who lived through it all.

As with all shows, backing  tracks can be provided for productions that do not have easy access to skilled musicians, but the basic instrumental line-up consists of a rock group supplemented by keyboard and saxophone/clarinet.
