Pride and Prejudice
Bernard J. Taylor's
Pride and Prejudice - based on the
classic novel by Jane Austen - has been staged more than thirty times to date with
great success for the companies concerned. Further productions are under
way. Read the review of the BUSOM production.
The studio recording features Peter
Karrie,
Claire Moore, Gay Soper, Janet Mooney, Christopher Biggins and James Staddon. A show with a number of prominent roles for old and young, it also
has plenty of chorus work, with five new chorus numbers added to the score
since the CD was recorded. It requires a cast of at least 25, and
preferably a lot more.
