Millennium Suite is a symphonic work in five movements, composed by Bernard J Taylor to mark the end of the present millennium and the start of the new one. Includes the Victory Overture. Orchestration, Gareth Price. Performed by the Polish State Philharmonic Orchestra of Latowice, conducted by Jerzy Swoboda.  © 1994 Bernard J. Taylor. 6 tracks. 51 minutes.

"The MILLENNIUM SUITE is exactly what it purports to be: five atmospheric movements designed to sum up where we are now, how we got here and what should await us. ...  this is music to enjoy, yet also music to be moved by." - Denby Richards, Musical Opinion, Spring 1997.

"The Millennium Suite is a modern day classic, a wonderful blend that rivals -though never imitates - the best of the 20th Century's great classical composers. It is beautiful, haunting music, melodic but with enough fascinating twists and turns to make listening a constantly interesting journey." - Mike Gibb, Masquerade.

"A strikingly original orchestral suite played with style and verve. Taylor in his music has never been afraid to let melody and pure emotion show through and this, his first purely orchestral album, has all the hallmarks of his earlier successes." - John Williams, editor, Music From The Movies.

"--  a truly unique work, with the more lush and melodic lines sadly missing from many pieces of this age. The Millennium Suite will, I am sure, become a most popular work and establish the composer among the highest of his contemporaries."  - Mark-Andrew James, Director and Principal Conductor of the Sussex Symphony Orchestra.
