LESLEY GARRETT (Cathy) has established herself as one of Europe's
leading
sopranos and her various recordings - “Diva,” “Soprano In Red,” “The
Lesley Garrett Album” - have been constantly in the higher reaches of the
classical charts in recent years. Born in Doncaster, Lesley became one of the
most popular figures at the Colisseum in London with the English National
Opera, taking the lead in a number of operatic productions including Cunning
Little Vixen, Street Scene and Die Fledermaus (in which she
made international headlines by baring her bottom to the audience). She has
also made many television appearances (including a series with Dudley Moore)
in her crusade to bring opera to a wider audience. See An interview with
Lesley Garrett
DAVE WILLETTS (Heathcliff) took over from Michael Crawford in the
original
West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of The Opera after
making his starring debut on the London stage in the role of Jean Valjean in Les
Miserables. Dave has returned to the role a number of times in response to
public demand. He also created the lead male role opposite Petula Clark in the
West End production of Someone Like You. Dave has given a series of
live performances on tours around Britain - including tours with Lorna Luft,
daughter of Judy Garland and sister of Lisa Minelli. For more details about
Dave and what he is doing at present, see The Dave Willetts Home Page
BONNY LANGFORD

played the role of Violet Elizabeth Bott in the television series based on
Richmal Crompton's William stories. She has appeared in leading roles
in many West End and touring productions, including Me and My Girl and Little
Shop of Horrors. Her list of credits would fill a book!
SHARON CAMPBELL (Nellie Dean) played Mary Magdalen in the original West End
production of Jesus Christ Superstar. She was afterwards given a
recording contract by a major record company, but faded from the limelight
when she decided to devote her energies to raising her daughter. She has
worked continuously as a session singer and has appeared as a backing vocalist
on many recordings.
JAMES STADDON (Edgar) has appeared
professionally in a number of musicals
and recently played Javier in the West End production of Les Miserables.
